The municipality of Villanueva is a former cluster municipality of Phividec Industrial Estate of Misamis Oriental (PIEMO) Fire Station located at Barangay Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan Misamis Oriental. By virtue of Bureau Order Number: AFS-2019-001 signed by Fire Director Leonard R. Bañago, Villanueva Fire Station was then activated dated March 15, 2019 with the pioneering set of personnel assigned at the newly activated Villanueva Fire Station, to with;

thru the concurrent supervision of INSP RANDY N. OBSIOMA, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal of PIEMO Fire Station.
Villanueva Fire Station then temporarily holds office beside the old Villanueva Municipal Gymnasium while the typical Fire Station construction is in progress. At present, BFP Villanueva Fire Station transferred to its permanent location located at the right rear portion of the old municipal gymnasium since August 04, 2022.
